WIRES Wildlife Training

WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.) has been rescuing and caring for wildlife for over 30 years.

WIRES began in 1985 and launched as an organisation officially in 1986. Over 3 decades WIRES has grown into Australia's largest wildlife rescue organisation, receiving tens of thousands of requests annually for rescue advice and assistance.

Every year WIRES train hundreds of new volunteers in wildlife rescue and care and we are dedicated to the ongoing recruitment of new volunteers and the ongoing training of existing volunteers, to enable more native animals to be helped as quickly and professionally as possible.

WIRES advanced Species Courses are available for WIRES volunteers, veterinary staff and licenced members of other wildlife rescue and care organisations.

WIRES also provide training for other organisations and professionals working with wildlife.

If you have any questions about WIRES wildlife training please fill in a training enquiry form.
