Corporate volunteering with WIRES

Boost your employee engagement by offering your employees the opportunity to make a difference for Australian wildlife through WIRES corporate volunteering.

Pinnacle Team Events

WIRES has partnered with Pinnacle Team Events to offer sustainable corporate volunteering events where groups work together to build connection whilst helping native Australian animals.

Designed with WIRES, charity events enable teams to build connection through shared experience as they learn about the impact of Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organisation and actively help save the lives of native Australian animals.

WIRES Wildlife Workshops are an interactive volunteering experience where participants work together to produce:

• Joey Pouches – to be used when nursing sick, injured and orphaned animals back to health;
• Possum Boxes OR Dreys – new homes that are given to displaced native animals to thrive in; or
• Wombat Burrow Flaps – to help alleviate the pain and suffering of wombat mange.

The cost of an event includes the event fee and a donation to WIRES, and will help WIRES to rescue native animals, provide ongoing wildlife education and help support volunteer carers.

• Events with a standard WIRES donation will include an emotive introductory video played at the start of the event plus stories and images for you to use.
• Events with a premium WIRES donation will include a representative from WIRES to speak to your team, where we share stories from the field to bring to life the impact of your volunteer contribution.

WIRES is extremely grateful to businesses wanting to donate their valuable staff time and/or expertise to help us assist native animals. We are always open to new ideas on pro bono services, which could range from basic administration tasks to complex data analysis and strategic planning.
